PrintMaster Platinum v8 is a simple desktop publishing package with some impressive features. You won’t get the same level of sophistication with this software as you would with some of the higher priced software in our desktop publishing software reviews, but it has a nice feature package that will let you do a diverse set of tasks.
PrintMaster 2012, 5, 6, and 7 include built in software update capability. To check for updates use the Help menu while PrintMaster is running and choose Check for Updates. If an update is available follow the instructions to download and install.

In contrast, the Printmaster Platinum uses the same installation CD for both PC and Mac. Installation was a breeze. I am flabbergasted at the huge selection of art and graphics provided. *Close PrintMaster before updating.
*Click on the appropriate link above to download the update installation file.
*When prompted, run the installation file after downloading it (unless you are a Windows Vista user - see below). If you are not propmted to run the file, locate the downloaded file and double-click it to begin installation.
